Given that 40%-50% of marriages end in divorce, I suppose it should not be surprising that business partnerships have similar failure rates.

All partnerships are NOT bad; however, current and would-be business owners should weigh the pros and cons before making a final decision. Like marriage, many business partnerships start with lots of optimism and hope for the future. “How could we fail?” is a consistent mantra of most new partnerships. “After all look how much experience and talent we bring to the table!”
