Mistake #13
You Do Not Delegate

Delegation is not a natural act for most business owners and entrepreneurs. After all, the business is your baby. It is your reputation and your money that is on the line. It is your sweat equity, your long hours, your ingenuity, and your intellectual capital at stake.

However, delegation is a vital part to the long-term sustainability and success of every business. Refusing to delegate some of the responsibilities of running your business is often a recipe for burnout and ultimate failure of the business.

Are you building a business or just a job? If you answered “a business”, then delegation is a requirement.

IN THE BOOK I discuss the opportunity that delegation provides you as the leader.

One Possible Solution Offered in The Termite Effect:

  • In the future, be open to and proactive about your approach to delegation. This is especially true for those of you who absolutely cannot “let go” right now. Keep the idea top-of-mind. You will eventually come around and take the plunge. Believe me; you will be better off for doing so.
